Get in the Halloween Spirit with Screenings of these Cult Classics

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

While temperatures may be starting to drop, the fun of fall is certainly making its arrival known. With an increase in outdoor events in a COVID-19 world, Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre have once again come up with a creative way to safely engage patrons and the community as the seasons change.

Circle Theatre is partnering with Wealthy Theatre to host six nights of movies on the lawn at Circle Theatre, featuring multiple showings of cult classics The Rocky Horror Picture Show and timeless Halloween favorite Hocus Pocus.

The Halloween spirit is sure to be thriving, and guests are welcome to bring their picnic baskets, blankets, beach chairs, favorite costumes, friends, and family. Social distancing between groups and masks (when not seated) are required, so guests are free to spread out and enjoy a perfect Michigan fall night.

"Local theatre has taken a deep hit this summer with multiple postponements and cancellations due to COVID-19," said Ashlee McGreevy, Marketing & Outreach Specialist, Circle Theatre. "These intermissions have left both Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre with the need to bring in revenue, but also a renewed commitment to keeping theater alive for our audiences and our performers."

Circle Theatre is keeping that commitment through safe and entertaining community events.

"These events are just one of the many ways that you can help support Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre," McGreevy added.

Tickets are $15, with all proceeds directly supporting local theater through Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre. For more information on the October's Movies at Circle, to purchase tickets, or to find more ways to support Circle Theatre, call the box office at 616.456.6656 or visit Circle Theatre.
