Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

The whimsical tales of Dr. Seuss come to life in Seussical The Musical. Based on Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, and Miss Gertrude McFuzz, this heart-filled journey is guaranteed to thrill all fans of the beloved rhyming master.

The story focuses on some familiar characters: Jojo, who is told not to think; Horton, who is ridiculed for his dream; and Gertrude McFuzz, who is just working to get Horton to notice her. This musical adventure reminds us all of the importance of discovery and a spirit of imagination.

"Seussical offers all the energetic and colorful flights of imagination that you'd expect from Dr. Seuss, but it's packaged in a fresh and exciting musical score that artfully carries the entire show. And at the center of all this wonderful spectacle is a touching human story about love," said Director Andrew Anglin.

Seussical The Musical is part of the Grand Rapid Civic Theatre's 92nd season, which continues to thrill with well-loved classics and new favorites for the entire family.
