Rockford's much-loved annual art fair, Art in the Park, returns on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with even more inspiration and artistic vibrance than ever before.
Hosted by the Rogue River Artists Association and held again in the Rockford Footwear Depot parking lot, the event continues to grow—this year featuring over 70 juried artists from across the region and more than 20 local artists from the association. The change in venue, due to ongoing construction in Garden Club Park, has allowed organizers to expand the event while keeping its creative spirit intact.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of artwork for sale, including paintings in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media; fine art photography; jewelry made from glass, enamel, leather, and metal; hand-thrown pottery and ceramic pieces; woodwork and sculpture; fiber arts and textiles; leather goods and wearables; fused glass creations; papercraft and illustrations; ink drawings and pastels; as well as home decor and baskets.
Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply browsing, there's something for every taste and budget.
"Art in the Park is a chance to connect—with artists, neighbors, and the creative energy that makes Rockford unique," shared Angela Sist, this year's event chairperson. "It's an opportunity to engage with the artists and the passion behind their work, whether you're browsing, collecting, or simply taking it all in."
Admission is free, and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For updates and artist previews, visit facebook.com/rogueriverartists.
