Grand Rapids Ballet School Junior Company gears up for a charming performance of the beloved fairytale 'Snow White' for two weeks, along with Snow White's Tea Party.
Step into the springtime mood with Grand Rapids Ballet School's (GRBS) Junior Company as they bring the classic fairytale Snow White to the stage at the Peter Martin Wege Theatre for two weekends, March 8-10 & 16-17, 2024.
Based on the Brothers Grimm tale, Snow White follows the journey of the beloved princess as she blossoms into a stunning young woman and the jealousy of the evil queen and her magic mirror. The ballet features fan favorite characters like the Seven Dwarfs, and the handsome prince. Audiences will be transported into a world of wonder with this charming ballet that enchants all ages.
"I am excited to be bringing back this family favorite to the stage following its premiere in 2012," GRBS School and Junior Company Director Attila Mosolygo said. "I am very proud of all the dancers; their level of commitment, hard work and dedication to their characters have helped bring this fairy tale to life."
In addition to the performance, the ballet will also be hosting "Snow White's Tea Party," an add-on experience at City Flats Hotel where attendees can enjoy brunch, make Snow White-themed arts & crafts, take photos in the interactive photo booth, and meet characters from the performance.
