SPLURGES: I invest in products and activities that support my journey into the full essence of who I am as a woman. Once you reach the core of who you were designed to be—and how you're meant to take up space in the world—your beauty organically illuminates. A favorite is the Courage Candle from Five14 Candles. I use Mé by Femé, a vegan skincare line by Femé Naigow, Apsara Day Spa owner. I invest in yoga and belly dancing classes and block time each day to pray, meditate, and journal.

FAVORITE FEATURE: I love the shape of my eyes. I have a lot of fun whenever I wear eyeshadow. They're also the feature most reflective of my mother, who transitioned from earth in November 2018 after living courageously with cancer for seven years.

When do you feel most beautiful? When I'm balanced in mind-body-spirit. I can wear the most beautiful outfit, yet if I don't feel connected to my inner beauty, I'm off kilter. Other times, I could be stripped down to the bare minimum and feel I can conquer the world. Mind-body-spirit is a sacred connection I try to honor at all costs, to be the best version of myself in the moment.

The key to your personal beauty? Living in the present. Ensuring what I give my time, attention, and energy to is full of love and light. I cannot pour from an empty cup. I've gotten better at this as I've created healthy boundaries by managing my "no's" more effectively to make more room for the possibilities of "yes." I'm discovering more about how to protect and share my power as a woman with those around me every day.

SPLURGES: My mom said I can't wear makeup until I'm like 30, but I wear shiny clear lip gloss sometimes!

FAVORITE FEATURE: My beautiful brown skin.

When do you feel most beautiful? When I shine my light and share it with others.

The key to your personal beauty? Loving myself and sharing my light with people. It doesn't matter what you look like. What's important is your personality and what's in your heart.
