Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lakeshore teamed up with three local coffee shops to launch their “Thanks A Latte” fundraiser.  Thanks A Latte is helping the agency bring awareness to the need for positive adult mentors (Bigs) in the lives our community’s vulnerable and at-risk children (Littles). Lemonjello’s and Joe2Go, both of Holland and The Book Nook in Montague are the agency’s current partners during the month of October.

Gather at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum on Thursday, October 24, from 5-8 p.m., for a special trick-or-treat event! Children and parents alike are encouraged to wear their costumes and trick-or-treat throughout the museum, create spooky art projects, and so much more for only $1.50 admission!  

Northern Physical Therapy is celebrating their twentieth year in business and their tenth year in Wayland with an open house at their clinic (709 W. Superior, Wayland) on Thursday, October 10 from 5-7 p.m.

The eighth annual Couture for a Cure, a runway fashion show raising funds for cancer and disease research and science education, takes place Thursday, October 10, at Van Andel Institute (VAI).
